AUTISM - THE TEEN YEARS St Kilda Films produced the half hour documentary Autism - The Teen Years, about three young people, Aaron, Jacqui and Richard, who have autism. Autism - The Teen Years is a follow-up to a film made in 1989, Autism - The Early Signs, which introduced three six-year-olds faced with a diagnosis of autism. The parents of the three children are outstanding in the half hour film. Autism - The Teen Years explores what it means to be a teenager with autism. Teenage is a time when young people search out how they are the same or different to others. With people with autism, it can be a time when it dawns upon them that their lives will be fundamentally different from others. For more information, contact us on +61 3 9525 4886.
