OUR TEAM :
The team at St Kilda Films is made up of filmmaker Mark Poole and producer Lisa French.
Mark has been a writer, director and producer for twenty years. He has written more than 20 hours of broadcast drama including the telefeature A Single Life, which won an AFI Award, and screened on the BBC in the UK, as well as the ABC in Australia.
Mark has also produced and directed a number of documentaries and short films. Recently he wrote and directed the documentary India Rising for a Bombay-based production compan.
Lisa French also works for St Kilda Films as producer and educational consultant. Lisa is Senior Lecturer in Cinema Studies at RMIT, City Campus. Mark and Lisa have recently completed a history of the Australian Film Institutute, Shining a Light: 50 Years of the AFI, to be published soon.
